How long does it take to produce a banner?
Normally we will complete all orders within 3-5 days. If you have a particualrly large order, it may be best to contact a member of our team to get a specific delivery date.
How do I supply artwork to you?
Artwork is required preferably as a Hi-Res PDF, however, Illustrator (AI); Photoshop TIFF (flattened), EPS are also acceptable. Once you have completed the payment stages of the checkout process, you will be able to upload a file to use using our Mailbigfile upload account.
Print ready artwork should preferably be supplied at ¼ of the final size of the banner: if your banner is 3000mm × 1000mm (3m × 1m) artwork needs to be prepared at a size of 750mm × 250mm. Artwork must be supplied at 300dpi and preferably as a high quality PDF with 5mm bleed and crop marks. If you are sending multiple banners, please clearly indicate the different banners in the file name.
It is important that all fonts are embeded or converted to outlines please check this carefully as it may result in your banner not being printed correctly. Please also note we are unable to accept any Microsoft files as printable artwork including: Word, Publisher, Excel & Powerpoint - these CAN be used as a reference for creating finished artwork from, but this would be subject to our artwork charge.
If you have no artwork at all and want us to design something simple from a design breif you have, we can easily do this, but it would be subject to a design fee of £10 for each artwork.
Are the banners suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, All our banners are made from heavy duty PVC material and they are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. We use UV inks which mean sthat they are extremely durable and do not fade.
For extra security on larger banners we also offer double-hem reinforcement. This is effectively a seat-belt-type material which is either sewn or welded into the hems of the banner for extra strength.
However, please be aware that banners are only temporary signage and we cannot be held responsible for any fitting or installation issues. As with all forms of temporary signage, they should be taken down in winds exceeding 30mph.
How are the banners delivered?
We use national couriers to deliver our banners. They are packaged very well and should reach you in perfect condition.
GOODS RECEIVED FROM OUR COURIERS: Please take the time to examine the packaging for tears, punctures, corners damaged, etc. If any damage is visible or you are not 100% happy, insist on opening package to inspect consignment before signing. Goods received from couriers are signed for as received in good condition. Once the package has been signed for we are unable to claim for a damaged consignment.
You are also able to have your banners delivered on a Saturday or at a specific time (i.e. pre 9am) for an additional charge.
PLEASE NOTE: Delivery prices quoted are for mainland UK only. Outside of this, and some of the more remote areas of Scotland may be subject to additional delivery charges. We will always inform you of any changes to delivery charges from our standard rates.
We have a professional team of fitters to be able to put up any type of banner (i.e. building wraps, lamp post banners etc). Please contact us to get a price for the fitting of your specific banner.
Can I use photo quality on my banners?
Absolutely. We print to 720dpi (Dots per inch) (Addressable) so the quality is excellent. However, please remember that banners are produced to be viewed from a distance.
Can you print both sides of the banner?
Yes. We would usually print on our 740gsm double-sided PVC banner material. This has a light-blockout lining, so as to prevent any show-through from the reverse - click here for any further information on our double-sided banner material.
